Rose d’Or Nominees Announced with More Master Class Speakers

November 9, 2015

The nominees for the 2015 Rose d’Or Awards were announced today by EUROVISION, organisers of the prestigious international entertainment programme awards. A record number of submissions were received for the Awards to be announced on December 9th at a ceremony at the British Museum in London.

Over 400 programmes were submitted for this year’s Rose d’Or Awards.  377 television and 82 radio entries were received. In only its second year, the radio competition saw submissions increase by over 150%.

“To have attracted a record number of entries for the second year in a row shows the prestige and the draw of the Rose d’Or Awards ,” says EUROVISION media director Jean Philip de Tender. “This means that the quality of the nominees this year is extremely high - not just in television but also in radio. It highlights the level of entertainment content that’s being produced across the industry.”

There are six categories for television and online video – Arts, Factual & Reality Entertainment, Game Show, Comedy, Sitcom, and Entertainment, and five categories covering radio – Comedy, Entertainment Event (Multimedia), Game Show, Music Show and Talk Show.

The juries are made up of separate judging panels for each category and include professionals renowned for their knowledge and experience within the media world.
