Laura Churchill is the Chief Executive Officer of PictureNL and Film Commissioner of Newfoundland & Labrador. As CEO, Laura is instrumental in further developing and implementing policies and initiatives that benefit the film and television industry in the province. As Film Commissioner, she is responsible for promoting Newfoundland and Labrador as a filming destination both nationally and internationally.
With 14 years of experience within the organization and almost two decades in the cultural industries, she has a passion for the film and television industry in Newfoundland and Labrador and a deep understanding of the local creative landscape, having played an integral role in the industry’s growth over the past decade.
