Veronika Slámová was born in 1976 in Pilsen. After finishing studies at Prague Film School (FAMU) in 2001, Slámová mainly worked on foreign feature productions filmed in Prague such as The Brothers Grimms, A Knight’s Tale, A Hart‘s War and many others starring Bruce Willis, Colin Farrell, Mila Jovovich or Matt Damon.
After maternity leave in 2013, Slámová took a job at Czech Television as executive producer producing documentaries, art and children programmes and later also concerts‘ and performing art‘s live broadcasts. In 2018 Slámová became the head of production of Fiction Programmes. Slámová still produces films and since covid also a charity programme that helps children in need.
