Ali is the Managing Director of WPP Motion Entertainment. She oversees programme investment with the UK’s major commercial broadcasters, and partners with indies and production groups on shows of all genres. Having started her TV career at Avalon, she then moved into distribution, spending more than a decade at Target Entertainment in senior programming and acquisitions roles, working across drama, comedy, entertainment and factual. After a year as DRG’s Head of Factual, she joined Motion Entertainment in 2014.
