Theatre director and cultural programmer, holding a Master’s degree in Communication and Arts from FCSH.
He works at the intersection of stage and screen, exploring new languages for the performing arts.
In 2012, he founded Teatro do Vão, where he develops a body of work shaped by the body, memory and poetic language, with minimalism as a tool to reveal presence.
Since 2016, he has been responsible for Performing Arts programming at RTP2, expanding how contemporary creation can exist within public service broadcasting.
His artistic and curatorial practice is driven by the creation of meaningful encounters between artists and audiences.
He is Vice-President of the IMZ International Music + Media Centre and a member of the expert group on music and performing arts of the European Broadcasting Union.
