Since June 2024, Jasmin Maeda serves as SVP International Fiction at ZDF. She is responsible for a diverse portfolio ranging from European co-productions (Other People’s Money; Kabul), US movies to high-end drama, documentaries, and arthouse films —produced for both linear and digital platforms across the entire network, including ZDFneo, 3sat and streaming. She also manages the strategic collaborations with international partners such as the BBC, European Alliance, and New8.
Previously, she was Head of ZDFneo, where she played a key role in shaping the channel’s strategy to reach younger audiences. Since joining ZDF in 2006, she held various editorial positions, including the departments for children and youth and TV Drama/Series. She worked on numerous productions such as LIBERAME, police procedural SOKO Leipzig and MORDSSCHWESTERN. As Head of the “Series I” editorial team, she also led the successful transformation of the long-running true crime format Aktenzeichen XY into a multimedia brand.
