Andrew Wilkie is Chief Executive of the Prison Radio Association, the charity that runs the world’s first national radio station for people in prison, National Prison Radio. He is a multi-award-winning radio producer and has been making radio in prisons for almost two decades. He specialises in documentaries, features and podcasts looking at crime and justice. He won the 2025 Rose D’Or for the documentary The Ballad of Scout and the Alcohol Tag and is the creator and producer of BBC Radio 4’s Behind the Crime, which this year returned for its sixth series.
