Bill Dunlop

Bill Dunlop is a former Senior Programme Editor of Channel 4 News in the UK, and Editorial Director of Euronews, based in Lyon. For the past 20 years he has lived in Washington, DC where he was President and CEO of Eurovision Americas, Inc., the US branch of the EBU. He has served as a judge at both the Royal Television Society Journalism awards in London and the International Emmy Awards in New York. He is author of the EBU report, “Perfect Storm: the Multiple Challenges Facing Public Service News and Why Tackling Them is Vital for Democracy”. Most recently, he contributed the chapter “Navigating the Trump Storm” to the book, “Populism, the Pandemic and the Media”, published by Abramis in June 2021.
