With her Media & Culture Management master’s degree from Sciences-Po Paris in hand, Ella Cohen started her career in 2007 in distribution, becoming in 2012 Market Research & Development Coordinator at Newen. Promoted to Head of Research and Acquisitions in 2016, she’s since then been accompanying the group’s producers in their creative endeavors, supplying them with inspiration, examples and studies of formats & trends.
With Newen Studios having expanded on a European level over the past 4 years with a presence now in 8 countries, she’s since 2021 brought her expertise to the group’s international producers as Head of Market Intelligence & International Synergies. Always on the hunt for new ways of storytelling and new formats, she’s developped over the years a detailed expertise on the format market evolution, matching her personal passion for great TV stories of all genres.
