Emilio Schenker

Emilio Schenker is the CEO of SIPUR, an Israel-based global entertainment studio chaired by former Paramount Global Chair Shari Redstone and focused on elevating high-end film and television projects to the international stage through strategic partnerships.

The studio’s recent works include the new Israeli drama sensation for Netflix, BAD BOY; the medical thriller series HEART OF A KILLER, featuring Niv Sultan; the global co-production of the music-filled romantic comedy MÍRAME ASÍ – EL CAMINO DE NOA, starring pop star Noa Kirel and Argentine star Agustin Bernasconi; and the Emmy Award-winning Yariv Mozer Oct. 7th documentary feature WE WILL DANCE AGAIN.

Other television projects include the acclaimed THE DEVIL’S CONFESSION: THE LOST EICHMANN TAPES and the docuseries MUNICH ’72. Sipur also has added the Hagai Levi World War II series ETTY, which premiered at 2025’s Venice Film and Television Festival, from executive producer Isabelle Adjani and producer Yael Fogiel, and sold by TFI.

On the feature side, Sipur has partnered on Paul Schrader’s latest feature, OH CANADA: Steven Feinartz’ acclaimed SXSW premiere documentary on Marc Maron, ARE WE GOOD?; made its first investment in the horror genre with the Cristin Milioti-starrer BUDDY, which became the talk of this year’s Sundance; CHASING SUMMER, another Sundance critical favorite; and serving as a co-producer of Gus Van Sant’s DEAD MAN’S WIRE starring Al Pacino and Bill Skarsgard.

Schenker is an acclaimed writer, producer and director, whose films have participated in numerous festivals around the world. He holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree from the Steve Tisch School of Film and Television at Tel Aviv University. A longtime content executive, he has served as SVP of Content at the Zappa Group, Israel’s leading live music company, and as Chief Creative Officer at GLZ, Israel’s leading radio station, among others.
