Neil Zeiger is an award-winning producer of high-quality British drama, with over 40 years’ experience. His eclectic career includes producing for Nevision, Portman Film and TV, Parallel Films, Blue Heaven, Sony Pictures Television, ITV and the BBC where he also set up the BBC’s first Drama Department in Belfast. On leaving the BBC Neil set up and ran his own successful independent production company, Flickers Productions and in October 2025 Neil re-launched as Flickers Films with business partner Martin Proctor. Flickers currently has a slate of high-end drama series and feature films in development.
Neil’s career in television and film follows an early career in theatre that culminated in a stint running production at the Royal Lyceum Theatre Edinburgh.
His roster of acclaimed credits include feature documentary “Manolo: The Boy Who Made Shoes for Lizards”; TV series: “The Ruth Rendell Mysteries” – over 150 hours and BAFTA nominated, “The Secret Adventures of Jules Verne”, “Peak Practice”, “Rock Face”, “Kingdom” starring Stephen Fry, feature documentary “The Bolshoi Ballet” nominated for the prestigious Huw Wheldon Award, “The Negotiator” starring Brian Cox, the critically acclaimed “Plays for Tomorrow” and “Billy Trilogy” starring Keneth Brannagh, “Imaginary Friends” starring Peter Ustinov, “The Deadly Game” starring George Segal, Trevor Howard and Robert Morley, “Jessie” directed by Brian Forbes starring Nigel Hawthorne and Nanette Newman. Neil has also produced feature films: “Lamb” starring Liam Neeson musical score by Van Morrison and Bill Whelan and most recently Brian Cox’s directorial debut on film “Glenrothan” starring Brian Cox and Alan Cumming. “Glenrothan” won ‘best feature film’ at the National Film Awards 2026.
