Sabah Wahbe is a seasoned media executive and format specialist in entertainment, active in the industry since 1996. With cross-genre expertise, she has worked on both the broadcaster and production sides, shaping successful formats and guiding high-impact launches.
She held key roles including Director of Development & Formats at ITV Germany and Deputy Head of Development at VOX, where she oversaw the launch of numerous adaptations and long-running hits such as Come Dine with Me and 4 Weddings. As an Executive Producer, Wahbe is a proven leader in celebrity reality and factual entertainment—most notably spending seven years as Executive Producer of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! in Germany or producing the celebrity reality with Harald Gloeoeckler.. alongside a range of prime-time shows and factual entertainment formats.
For the past seven years, Wahbe has served as Head of Development at WDR, where she drives cross-media format innovation and spearheads genre-bridging special projects—bringing journalism and entertainment together (e.g., die100) and advancing public-service reality (e.g., Vibes – Find Your Fire). Globally connected and dedicated to supporting emerging creative talent.
