Silke Holgersson studied at the University of Hamburg, where she received her doctorate in sociology. She is a senior editor at ONE, an ARD channel dedicated exclusively to feature films and series.
She is responsible for all feature film acquisitions and the planning of all respective feature film slots. This includes acquisition, rights management, long-term and event planning – all in responsible coordination with the ARD Mediathek.
Silke initiated and was responsible for various self-produced formats such as the culture magazine “Einsweiter”, the series talk show “Seriös – Das Serienquartett” and was involved in various fiction co-productions within the ARD (e.g., “Wild Republic”).
She is responsible for the French-German co-production “Parlament” within the participating ARD broadcasters. The “Europe-themed” comedy series was awarded the German Grimme Award in 2021 and the Rose d’Or in 2023. The series is now entering its 4th season.
