Burhan Gün

After graduating from the Faculty of Law at Istanbul University, BURHAN GÜN completed his master’s degree in 2014 at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Cinema-TV Department of Marmara University.
Since 2006, he has been actively involved in the film industry, maintaining a dual career as a producer and legal professional.
BURHAN GÜN began his career with short films, serving as the screenwriter, director, and producer of Çocuksu (Childish, 2006), Nefes (Breath, 2007), Kağıt Gemi (Paper Ship, 2010), and Sahteci (Falsifier, 2010).
In the field of documentary cinema, he contributed as writer, director, and producer to the projects Nijerli Musa Usta (Nigerian Master Moses, 2013) and Yönetmen Gözünden Oyuncu Yönetimi (Actor Management from the Director’s Perspective, 2014).
In 2017, he founded FIKRIGUN FILM, through which he continued his production career. He wrote, directed, and co-produced the feature-length animated film Renkli: Discoverer of NewWorlds (2018) in collaboration with Bros Film.
He also served as one of the producers of the Netflix original film You Do You (Merve Kült) (2023), co-produced by FIKRIGUN FILM, CB Film Company, and Kala Film.
Most recently, he executive produced the feature film Akıldan Kalbe (My Dad’s Heart, 2025) in partnership with Sinehane Film and Üs Yapım marking a significant milestone in his production career.
The short film Eudaimonia (2025), which he also produced, has recently completed shooting.
His ongoing projects in development or production include:
• Yüzleşme (feature film), co-produced by FIKRIGUN FILM & Beyrut Film,
• Çılgın Kuklalar: Yüzen Ağaçlar Ülkesi (feature-length animated film), developed in collaboration with Tekden Film, FIKRIGUN FILM, and Beyrut Film,
• Aile Saadeti, a TV series produced by Sinehane Film, in which he serves as Executive Producer; set to air on ATV in June.
